This course provides students with acknowledge of the basic structure of medical words. The students will study the pronunciation, spelling and definition of medical terms. Prefixes, suffixes, wordroots, combining forms, pluralforms, and abbreviations are included. A programmed learning, wordbuilding system will be used to learn word parts that are used to constructor analyze new terms.
