Summary of the main learning outcomes for students enrolled in the course.
1. To teach the students assessment, management, and evaluation of patients with a range of neurological disorders affecting the peripheral and autonomic nervous system and encourage an evidence-based approach to practice.
2. To understand and explain the underlying concepts behind theories of physiotherapy approaches to neurological rehabilitation.
3. To acquire adequate knowledge about neurological processes and normal mechanisms in order to understand neurological conditions.
4. To qualify the students to assess the patients with neurological disorders and to provide education, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention strategies.
5. To enhance the clinical skills of the students in the management of neurological disorders.
