Tell Your Story in Korean!

Regardless of your Korean proficiency, any international student at Gachon University is welcome to apply!

 

• Target: International undergraduate students currently enrolled for the Spring 2026 semester.

• Exclusions: Students on leave of absence, graduates, those who have withdrawn/been expelled, students exceeding the regular number of semesters, and graduate students are not eligible to participate.

 Competition Categories

• Part 1 (Beginner): TOPIK Level 1–2 or beginner learners (those taking "Korean Speaking 1").

• Part 2 (Advanced): TOPIK Level 3 or higher or intermediate/advanced learners (those taking "Korean Speaking 2").

 Schedule

• Preliminary Round Registration: April 1 (Wed) – April 24 (Fri)

• Final Round: May 15 (Fri), 13:00 – 14:50

• Venue: International Hall, Global Center

# Apply individually through the Gachon University WIND website.

 Competition Format

• Preliminary Round: Submit a Korean speech video (under 1 minute) on the theme "My Dream."

• Final Round: A 5-minute presentation on the theme "Gachon University through My Eyes." (Part 1 presentations followed by Part 2).

 Evaluation Criteria

• Pronunciation & Fluency / Expression / Delivery / Sincerity & Content (Total 100 points).

 Awards & Prizes

Note: Prizes are awarded separately for Part 1 and Part 2. Award details may change based on results. For prizes over 100,000 KRW, taxes will be deducted before payment.

• WIND Mileage: 20 points for all applicants.

• Lucky Draw: 10 Starbucks gift cards (10,000 KRW each) will be raffled on the day of the finals.

Important Notes

• Only those who pass the preliminary video round can participate in the finals.

• WIND Mileage is awarded only after completing the program and the subsequent survey.

• Winning presentation videos may be posted on the Center for Communication's YouTube channel (prior consent required).
